Awana Club

< Back to Children’s Ministry

Awana Clubs logoAwana (Approved workmen are not ashamed) is a local and international ministry designed to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him.  The Awana club is held on Friday nights at Arlington Chinese Church for kids from age 3 to 6th grade.

The club’s activities include reciting scripture verses, singing worship songs, listening to Bible stories, and playing fun games.  The clubbers are rewarded for recitation of scripture verses throughout the year and are recognized for their efforts at the end of the year at the Awana awards ceremony annually held mid-May.

Awana clubbers excel when their parents are involved with them in learning the curriculum during the week.

* A partnership of parents + Awana = successful kids

Visitors and newcomers are always welcome!

“Success is not helping our kids be what they want to be. Success is helping our kids be what GOD wants them to be.”

– Dr. Rob Rienow, Family Pastor
