The preaching theme of the year 2022 is “Why Church?” Through the Book of Acts
and Ecclesiology, we will learn the meaning of the church that God created, and
how we can worship God, grow in spirit, and share the gospel together.

  5. We invite you to join the Home of Love, caring for new UTA/DBU students, helping them to settle down, sharing your life experience in the United States, and inviting them to eat together.   6. OMF is offering a Zoom vision trip to get to know two unreached Muslim people groups in China on Sep 23rd, 6:30pm-9:30pm. If you are interested in attending, please contact Pastor Jason jasontsai@accdfw.org The deadline for registration is Sep 10th。
  7. Leeling, one of ACC’s missionaries, will return to Arlington for 9/8-11/9. She needs a car. If you can help, please contact Pastor Jason.

Thanksgiving & Prayer

  1. Please pray for this world. Pray for the protection and provision from the Lord. Pray for those who are in need may find their comfort and hope in the Lord.
  2. Please pray for the pastors, staff, elders, deacons, ministry leaders, small group leaders, and helpers at church to have wisdom and strength from God to follow God’s guidance andserve together with unity.
  3. Please pray for the Southlake Ministry:
    ➢ Please pray that God uses us to reach out to His people and to glorify His name.
    ➢ Please pray for the children’s ministry and youth ministry which are in need of teachers and helpers.
  4. Please pray for church ministries and activities:
    ➢ Praise the Lord for His provision of workers for Children’s ministry.
    ➢ Pray for the college student ministry esp. for the new students.
    ➢ Pray for Sunday school ministries.
    ➢ Pray for the food box distribution ministry.
    ➢ Pray for the mid-west short mission trip in 9/9-18.
  5. Please pray for brothers and sisters:➢ Pastor Kai and Katherine returned from their mission trip in Europe. Pray for good rest and adjustment.
    ➢ Raymond is looking for a good heart surgeon to treat his heart issue. Pray for God’s provision.
    ➢ Jeff T. will have heart surgery in two weeks. Pray for his health and a smooth procedure without complication.
    ➢ Pray for those who are battling cancer: Hsiao-Lan, David C., Shumeng.
