We welcome Joy D., Pastor Yang, and his wife, Zhiying joined our Chinese service last Sunday.
Thanks to God for His guidance, the Elder and Deacon Joint Board had a meeting on 1/13/2022 and unanimously voted to recommend Pastor Simon Shen to be our Mandarin Pastor. Pastoral and administrative staff also supported this decision. We will call a membership meeting on 1/30/2022 to vote on this recommendation. A four-fifths or more of the affirmative votes are required to pass. Please continue praying for the remaining process.
The Elder and Deacon Joint Board submits the following brothers and sisters as deacon candidates for membership meeting approval. Their two-year terms start on 4/1/2022. We are thankful for their faithfulness and commitment to serve God and the church. The confirmation vote by the congregation will start on 1/30/2022.
