We welcome Hanna Y., Peter L., Aaron Z., and Ruby C. who joined our Chinese service last Sunday.
We give thanks for God’s leading, your prayers, and your care for the pastoral search. After the search committee, elder/deacon, and staff interviews, the Elder/Deacon Joint Board has invited Pastor Simon Shen, the Mandarin pastor candidate, and his wife, Jane, to come to Arlington on the weekend of January 9th to meet with us and preach in the Chinese and English worship services. Please come to worship in-person on that day and reserve time to participate in an in-person or online Zoom meeting. Details will be announced later.
Praise the Lord for His guidance, in 2022, the Southlake campus will start weekly Sunday services. Please pray for ministries and needs. May the Lord continue His work there and give us strength.
Church office will be closed on 12/28, 12/29, and 1/4/2022. Staff will take vacation on various days during the holidays.

Continue praying for the pandemic. Pray that people will experience God’s mercy through salvation and healing.
Please pray for our overseas workers’ health and ministries: Leeling, Dorothy, Dean & Penny, Derek & Chantal.
Please pray for deacon nominations, administrative staff replacement and the pastoral search for ACC.
Please pray for Da Yong’s brother and sister-in-law who were seriously injured in a car accident last week in China. Pray for their healing.
Danny W.’s grandma passed away in China. Please pray for God’s comfort to his family. Pray that God will open a door for his mom to go back to China for funeral arrangements; due to the pandemic, travel to China is difficult.
Pray for God’s healing grace for those who are sick in our midst: Shumeng, Gracy’s father, Jade’s mother, Ruth, Lucy, Ling-ling (Helen’s sister-in-law), Edmund’s younger sister, Brenda, Johnny, Yu-Chun, and Chantal.
