The preaching theme of the year 2022 is “Why Church?” Through the Book of Acts
and Ecclesiology, we will learn the meaning of the church that God created, and
how we can worship God, grow in spirit, and share the gospel together.

Announcements

  1. December’s Food Distribution Day will be on 12/17 (Saturday). Please scan the QR code to serve together, access code: Godisgood
  2. We will have Chinese and English Joint Worship (Arlington+ Southlake) on Christmas Sunday (12/25) at 10am. No events will be held at church on Christmas Eve.
  3. Update for ACC Keyholders: All entrance/exit doors should be locked at all times in order to minimize unauthorized entry into the building. Please re-lock doors after you and your group have entered the building.
  4. 2023 church retreat will be held on 10/6-10/8. We need volunteers to join the organizing committee headed by Winnie Yang. jwyang8704@yahoo.com
  5. You may give your offerings in-person, through mail, or online through ACC’s website.

Thanksgiving and Prayer

  1. Pray for Southlake Campus as they continue to search for a more suitable location to gather for worship.
  2. Pray that God will raise up new deacons to serve and to lead with righteousness and faithfulness.
  3. Pray for those who are seeking God’s guidance and direction in their lives that they would lift uptheir eyes and call on the Wonderful Counselor to direct their paths.
    • Seniors in high school, seniors in college, people who must make difficult transitional decisions.
  4. Pray for those who are in difficult situations that they will experience the deliverance of the Mighty God.
    • Peter, Pastor Kai, Raymond, Hsiao-Lan and their families. Pray for those who have unbelieving
      family members.
  5. Pray for those who feel rejected, lonely, hurt, worthless, and hopeless that they will receive assurance from the Everlasting Father so that His love and grace will become the anchor for their souls.
    • Those who lost loved ones this year.
  6. Pray for those who live in anxiety and fear that they will feel and live in the assurance that the Prince of Peace is with them and for them.
    • Those who suffer from depression and anxiety will find peace in Jesus Christ.
