The preaching theme of the year 2022 is “Why Church?” Through the Book of Acts
and Ecclesiology, we will learn the meaning of the church that God created, and
how we can worship God, grow in spirit, and share the gospel together.


  1. On next Sunday June 19th, ACC will hold Father’s Day Joint Worship at 10am.
  2. The Grand Opening of ACC Southlake Campus will be on July 10th!
  3. Please download the mobile APP of the church’s ChMS system, Elvanto, so as to receive and view the latest church information in a timely manner.
  4. “The Parables of God’s Kingdom” Art Camp 2022 is still accepting registration. Dates: July25-29, 9AM-Noon. Location: Arlington Chinese Church. The Pantry class is now closed. Art Classes for ages 5-14 are still open for registration. For more details and to register: go online to https://bit.ly/artcamp22register Please invite your child(ren) and their friends to join us in singing, learning, and creating projects using God’s truths!
  5. Kids Ministry needs teachers at 9:30 AM and 11:15 AM for nursery & preschool. Please contact Pastor Francisco at fleungacc@gmail.com for more information.

Thanksgiving & Prayer

Prayer Points for ourselves

  • We will all continue to hunger and thirst for His word and His will in our lives.
  • We will all learn to live in God’s presence and behold His glory that transforms us.
  • We will all know and experience His love that is better than life.
  • We will all become the worshippers that Jesus is looking for, those who would worship in spirit and truth.

Prayer for church ministries

  • Youth ministry is currently finishing up Mission Arlington. Pray that God will use our youths to touch the lives of others. Pray also for safety and protection.
  • DCCYC (Youths Retreat) June 15-19. The theme is “Unmasked”. Pray that the Holy Spirit will work in the lives of these young people so that they can come to God just as they are. Pray also that they will come to know and encounter God’s love for them in a transformative way.
  • Youths will be reaching out to the refugees (June 26- July 1st)
  • Summer Bible Study. Pray that those who participate will be transformed by the word of God.
  • Art Camp. Pray for all who will be serving as they prepare for the camp. Pray that everyone who attends will not only enjoy making art, but understand the parables of the Kingdom.
  • Pray that our church members will respond to the needs of the children’s ministry and serve the precious children whom God has entrusted us with.

Prayer for church Leaders

  • Pray for Godly wisdom for our elders, deacons and staff.
  • Pray for small group leaders and Sunday school teachers.
  • Pray that God will raise up more Christ like leaders.
  • Pray for Pastor Shen as his family moves to Arlington. Pray that their house will be ready as soon as possible.

Prayer for our overseas workers’ health and ministries: Leeling, Dorothy, Dean & Penny,
Derek & Chantal.

Prayer for brothers and sisters in need

  • Pray for God’s healing grace for those who are sick: Willis (two ruptured disks), Hsiao-Lan, David C., Shumeng, Gracy’s father, Ling-ling, teacher Brenda, Chantal.

Prayer for our country

  • Pray for President Biden and all the political leaders to humble themselves and seek God’s ways so that they can lead this country in holiness and righteousness.
  • Pray for the local churches to be sound in their doctrine and be ready to share hope with the lost and the afflicted.
