The preaching theme of the year 2022 is “Why Church?” Through the Book of Acts and Ecclesiology, we will learn the meaning of the church that God created, and how we can worship God, grow in spirit, and share the gospel together.

Announcements

1. We welcome Janie, Guoqing and his daughter Chuchu W. joined our service last Sunday.
2. February is ACC Missions month. Different speakers will preach on Missions each week.
   May the Lord help us to know His heart.
3. Tomorrow (2/7) is the deadline for the congregational vote to approve the
   recommendation of Pastor Simon Shen to be our Mandarin Pastor, as well as Eva W.,
   Christine L., Shirley L., Franky L., and Willis C. for deacon terms from 2022-2024. Please
   pray before casting your vote.
4. Due to the inclement weather, the Southlake Spring Festival has been postponed to next
   Saturday (2/12), still 2-6 PM at the Southlake Town Square. Please keep this in prayer.
5. Our Southlake campus will have its Grand Opening on 4/3 and officially open to the
   public. Please pray for the promotions and preparations. May the Lord use us to share
   the gospel.
6. Kids Ministry needs teachers at 9:30 AM for grade school & preschool. Please contact Pastor Francisco at fleungacc@gmail.com for more information.

Thanksgiving & Prayer

1. Continue praying for the pandemic. Pray that people will experience God’s mercy through
   salvation and healing.
2. Pray for healing and quick recovery for those who have tested positive for Omicron.
3. Please pray for our overseas workers’ health and ministries: Leeling, Dorothy, Dean &
   Penny, Derek & Chantal.
4. Continue praying for deacon candidates and the pastoral search process for ACC.
5. Please pray for Southlake campus ministries and needs. May the Lord continue His work
   there and give us strength.
6. Continue praying for Hilary’s mom’s healing and her salvation.
7. Continue praying for full recovery for James T.’s mom and Julie.
8. Pray for God’s healing grace for those who are sick in our midst: Shumeng, Gracy’s
   father, Jade’s mother, Ruth, Lucy, Ling-ling (Helen’s sister-in-law), Edmund’s younger
   sister, Brenda, Johnny, Yu-Chun, and Chantal.
9. Pray for our expectant mother: Romi.
10. Continue praying for God’s comfort and peace for Steven O.’s family, as well as for
    the funeral arrangement.
