Announcement

1. We want to thank brothers and sisters in both congregations for your participation interacting with Andrew, the Mandarin pastoral candidate, and his wife Kim. Staff, Elders and Deacons also enjoyed getting to meet them. We’re grateful for your feedback in the Thursday evening meeting. Our Elders and Deacons will follow God’s guidance and consider all factors and information, to make a decision as to whether or not to recommend Andrew as Mandarin pastor. If approved, a membership meeting will be held to vote to confirm the recommendation of the Joint Board.
2. The summer art camp has completed successfully. Praise God! The virtual and the in-person camp proceeded smoothly at the same time, and the teachers and students were safe and happy. We thank all the co-workers
   and volunteers for their dedication, and also thank all for your intercession. We learned many valuable lessons. May all the glory and praise be attributed to God!
3. ACC will have baptism on 8/29, please contact the pastoral staff if you are ready to be baptized. The deadline is 8/15. We welcome brothers & sisters who want to join ACC membership to turn in your application form.
4. Please pray for the preparation for reopening the church on 8/16, and for the staff and committee to have God’s direction for all decisions.
5. We encourage everyone to participate in our prayer meetings on Wednesdays with brothers and sisters in different languages.
6. Please pray for God’s protection for our brothers and sisters in the medical field, especially for those are assigned to take care of COVID-19 patients.
7. Pray for brothers and sisters whose jobs are affected by COVID-19 crisis. Please pray for peace of heart and God’s provision.
8. If you have any kinds of needs, please contact our pastoral staff.
9. During this period of time, please continue to send your offerings either through mail or give online through ACC’s website.

Thanksgiving & Prayer

1. Please continue to pray for the pandemic and for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
2. Flood has been devastating Zhengzhou, Henan province in China. Continue to pray for relief and the local churches to seize the opportunity in helping and bringing the gospel to the people in need.
3. Please pray for our overseas workers’ health and ministries: Leeling, Dorothy, Dean, Penny, Derek, Chantal.
4. Elizabeth has a bone fracture from a fall. Please pray for healing.
5. Continue to pray for Judy’s husband, James from his recent surgery. Pray for strength and healing.
6. Pray for our expectant mothers: Romi, Emilia, Saomony, Ariella, and Tiffani.
7. Pray for God’s healing grace and healing for those who are sick in our midst: Shumeng, Hai-Chi, Ling-ling (Helen’s sister-in-law), Pastor Jason’s mom, Shum’s mother-in-law, Lily’s father, Edmund’s younger sister, Brenda, Freddy, Johnny, Yu-Chun, Chantal, and Lucy.
