The preaching theme of the year 2022 is “Why Church?” Through the Book of Acts
and Ecclesiology, we will learn the meaning of the church that God created, and
how we can worship God, grow in spirit, and share the gospel together.


  1. Update for ACC Keyholders: All entrance/exit doors should be locked at all times in order to minimize unauthorized entry into the building. Please re-lock doors after you and your group have entered the building.
  2. Members voting will end on 12/5 (Monday). Regarding the church’s proposal to purchase 825 Oakwood Lane and sell 1904 Nueces Trail, please vote. You can fill out paper ballot and leave it in the offering box, or click the link below or scan the QR code to vote online.
  3. 2023 church retreat will be held on 10/6-10/8. We need volunteers to join the organizing committee headed by Winnie Yang. jwyang8704@yahoo.com
  4. December’s Food Distribution Day will be on 12/17 (Saturday). Please scan the QR code to serve together, access code: Godisgood
  5. ACC Lunch. Sign up each week by Wednesday to register you and your family.
  6. You may give your offerings in-person, through mail, or online through ACC’s website.

Thanksgiving and Prayer

  1. Pray for Pastor Kai’s recovery. He had surgery to prevent bleeding in his bladder. Pray for Kythrine’s health and adjustment to the current situation.
  2. Pray for Peter W.’s recovery. He can stay in the current facility for one more week until 12/8. His therapist is training him to walk. Pray for Peili, and their family as they care for each other.
  3. Pray for Raymond W.’s recovery.
  4. Pray for salvation and healing for Joanne Y.’s father, and Hilary F.’s and Jade H.’s moms.
  5. Pray for God’s healing: Hsiao-Lan’s (cancer), Chuck L.’s father (cancer) and mother-in-law(cancer).
  6. Pray for John W.’s mission trip to Sierra Leone (11/25-12/13). He has arrived safely. Pray for health and effective ministry to help build orphanages, churches and schools. Pray for good communication as they share the Gospel.
