Our group is called ACCESS, standing for Arlington Chinese Church Engaging Students in Scripture.

The group hopes to build students up in their understanding and dedication towards Christ and the Bible. This is accomplished through:

1. Studying of Scripture - As hinted at in the name, sound teaching of Scripture is an utmost priority of the group. The word of God is central to our understanding of God as well as God's will for His people. We desire every student to be well acquainted with the truths of Scripture, and to be able to both study it on their own, and teach it when the opportunity arises.

2. Interactive Small Groups - Fellowship is an important aspect of the group, where the students can open up and share about their lives, and be encouraged by the faith of others. Here the students will be able to share experiences and struggles, while being edified and prayed for by the rest of the group.

3. Personal / Corporate Prayer - Prayer and worship is a vital aspect to the ministry, where the students meet weekly to pray for one another, as well as the church as a whole. Prayer varies in format, prayer walks, specific prayer for needs (like missions or revival), worship and response, or sometimes joint prayer meetings with the adult prayer meeting.

4. Outreach / Evangelism - A huge step in the maturity of the believer is taken when they begin to develop a heart for the lost around them and begin sharing their faith with them. This drives believers to better understand their own faith, master the presentation of the gospel, further trust the power of the Holy Spirit, and allows them to experience the joy of fulfilling the Great Commission.

5. Training and Mentoring - Our leaders desire to see the students equipped and trained to minister to the believers and non-believers around them. Those who are serious about learning have the opportunity to be worked with on a closer level, while workshops and training are available throughout the year.
