Children Ministry
Purpose
To change the lives of children while meeting the needs of the whole child spiritually, emotionally, socially, mentally, and physically.

Mission
"To empower parents as faith-builders at home and to equip children as faith-sharers at school"

This mission will be accomplished by:
  • Teaching to change behaviors & attitudes for the glory of Christ
  • Evangelizing regularly in the classroom and through home visitation
  • Providing instruction on how to read, study, memorize and apply God's Word
  • Leading to spiritual maturity through example as well as through discipleship
  • Supporting the whole family as well as the child with prayer, encouragement, and unconditional love
  • Supplying opportunities for children to be involved with the church and the community
  • Inviting participation by making "church" fun as well as informative
  • Encouraging teacher-student fellowship and bonding through home visits, outings, and special events
  • Disciplining in a manner that discourages inappropriate behavior while maintaining the child's self-worth
  • Seeing each child as a gift from the Lord with specific and individual needs
  • Giving each child a vision of who they are and what they can be in Christ

    Time
    Friday *(the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd of each month) 7:30pm-9:30pm

    Ages
    Cubbies 3 & 4 year olds
    Sparks: Kindergarten through 2nd grade
    T & T : Truth and Training (grades 3-6)

     Infant & Toddler Care
    Purpose
    To provide a safe and enriching environment for infants and toddlers so that parents may worship without distraction in adult services and classes.

    Time
    Birth to age Two: Sunday 9:30-11:00 am, 11:00am - 12:30pm

     Children's Discipleland
    Purpose
    Discipleland is where children learn about God's person, God's book and God's people. In Discipleland, children are encouraged to encounter Jesus personally. Discipleland begins with 2-year-olds learning about God's love and special Gift. Then, precept-upon-precept, children learn more and more. By the time, kids finish 6th grade, they have learned how to study the Bible inductively!

    Time
    Preschool (2 through Kindergarten): Sunday 11:00am - 12:30pm
    Elementary (Grades 1 through 4): Sunday 11:00am - 12:30pm

     

     Children's Discovery Zone
    Purpose
    To allow children age 2 thru grade 4 to discover God's love and power thru interactive, experiential learning. Children are encouraged to move and share as they study lessons from God's Book.

    Time
    Preschool (2 through Kindergarten): Sunday 9:30am - 11:00am
    Elementary (Grades 1 through 4): Sunday 9:30am - 11:00am
